We were made to worship.
It is built into us and without true worship our spirit and soul knows something is missing!
Our worship today is declared in the Word of God to be that of the tabernacle of David:
16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.”
In Psalms 150 we see from David how we should praise and worship in the sanctuary and how it is for everyone:
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
Again David writes multiple times about clapping of hands, shouting, dancing, singing - and for those of us who can't sing - he even includes US - He said make a joyful noise.... all embedded David said in the beauty of holiness.
If you have never lost yourself in praise and worship you owe it to yourself to try - there is nothing, absolute nothing like it...
